Fast Road Remap (Power + Economy)

This is the most popular Tuning option with our customers. The car is tuned to produce a balance between extra power and fuel economy as well as reducing flat spots at higher revs. Our work is proven on dyno, this ensures that customers get full satisfaction and peace of mind that their car will run smoothly as possible for thousands of miles with minimal damage.
E.g. Vw Golf V 2.0 TDI 140 remapped with this option choice would see an increase of 175BHP and +5-10MPG.

Race Remap (Power)

This is where we would max out the engine capability. Although this Tuning choice is mainly for pure power some of our customers have also seen fuel economy increases of up to 5MPG especially with German turbo diesel engines. Most cars with this option would or may need further modifications like a heavy duty clutch and performance intercooler. Our trained technicians have year’s hands on experience on working with a whole range of cars and recalibrating stock ECUs.
E.g. Vw Golf V 2.0 TDI 140 remapped with this option would see increase of up to 195-200BHP with an intercooler and clutch.

Economy Remap

This is a popular choice for drivers with a cool head. This package concentrates purely on getting the most fuel economy from your car! Surprisingly, this still provides extra power and cuts out flat spots making the car drive smooth.
E.g. Vw Golf V 2.0 TDI 140 remapped with this option would expect to see performance figures of 160BHP and 10-15MPH extra on a good run especially long motorway journeys.

Self Tuning System (STB)

The STB (Intelligent Self Tuning Box) is a revolutionary device, with this system you have the ability to not only programme your own car but also swap between 3 different maps, these can range from original, economy, power and race, for the first time giving the end user total control over the software within their cars ECU.

You simply install...  Read more the software that comes with the STB and select your vehicle, you then read the ECU data and email this direct to us and within 1 hour (during normal opening hours) you will have your modified files returned and ready for you to load too the STB and then onto your car.

Latest Bosch MD1 MG1 Tuning

Vehicles after 2016+ have been fitted with advanced Bosch MD1 (diesel), MG1 (petrol/gas) ECUs, these were previosuly unprogrammable. Our continued investment in new technology now allows us to tune these ECUs and also Clone them for replacement e.g in case of water damage etc

We can offer our tuning software for these newer 2016+ vehicles either by visting our workshop in Bradford, West Yorkshire or by postal service when you send us your ECU. Please note we make a full back-up of the ECU before making any changes also in all cases the ECU need to be removed from the car. Please enquire for prices.

Bosch M/EDC17 Bench Tuning

FR&RTuning are amongst a niche of companies around the world that can now offer tuning of the latest M/EDC17 anti-tune ECUs equipped with the Bosch INFINEON TRICORE TC1766, TC1796 & TC1797 processors.

We can offer our tuning software for these 2008+ vehicles either by visting our workshop in Bradford or by postal service when you send us your ECU. Please note we make a full back-up of the ECU before making any changes also in all cases the ECU need to be removed from the car. Please enquire for prices. Auto Gearboxes Tuning Remap, Cloning, Fix

Our Latest artillery of tools allows us to programme, clone Automatrica Gearboxes to the vehicles electronics. Ofcourse this also includes Tuning to get the optimum performance from the gearbox. Popular examples include VAG DSG, S-Tronic in VAG cars. Also BMW ZF 8HP. Features include:

DPF Removal ECU Software

New technology is great when it works but when it doesn't its expensive to repair. Many clients replace the DPF with a downpipe and often see a whole range of warning lights. Our ECU software safley removes the ECU signals that are required for the regeneration and operation of the DPF so the DPF is no longer operational and no more expensive DPF bills. EGR (exhaust Gas Reciculation) Valve Removal

Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is a nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions reduction technique used in petrol/gasoline and diesel engines. EGR works by recirculating a portion of an engine's exhaust gas back to the engine cylinders.

Since the EGR system recirculates a portion of exhaust gases, over time the valve can become clogged with carbon deposits that prevent it from operating properly.

Symptoms of a failing EGR includes:

  • Limp mode
  • Warning Light on dash indicates problem
  • Increased tailpipe emissions
  • Increased fuel consumption
  • Hesitation on acceleration
  • Stalling
  • Rough idling

When vechicles are modified for racing sometimes a high flow catalyst is used to a decat is used. This is some advanced engine managemnet systems report a fault on the drivers dash and possibily reducing engine efficiency. FR&RTuning can over come this by recalibrating the engine management software to stop the problems describe above.

AdBlue® Removal ECU Software

In newer Audi & Vw cars another system is implemented to reduce emisions with the injection of Adblue into the exhaust system. Again this system is known to cause problems and failure. For example in the Audi Q7 3.0TDi once the Adblue levels have reduced start getting warning messages requiring you to fill up. At this time you may not be in a postion to topup the Adblue in which case after 600miles the car engine WONT START again, “Refill AdBlue. No restart!”. Again we can help here to remove the Adblue system from your vehicle so you get no firther Adblue warningh messages or non-starts again. Common Fault codes include:

Lambda Sensor Delete/Decat

Lambda probes are used to reduce vehicle emissions by ensuring that engines burn their fuel efficiently and cleanly. By measuring the proportion of oxygen in the remaining exhaust gas, and by knowing the volume and temperature of the air entering the cylinders amongst other things, an ECU can use look-up tables to determine the amount of fuel required to burn at the stoichiometric ratio (14.7:1 air:fuel by mass for gasoline) to ensure complete combustion.

However they can be a problem. Normally, the lifetime of an unheated sensor is about 30,000 to 50,000 miles (50,000 to 80,000 km). Heated sensor lifetime is typically 100,000 miles (160,000 km). Failure of an unheated sensor is usually caused by the buildup of soot on the ceramic element, which lengthens its response time and may cause total loss of ability to sense oxygen. For heated sensors, normal deposits are burned off during operation and failure occurs due to catalyst depletion, similar to the reason a battery stops producing current. The probe then tends to report lean mixture, the ECU enriches the mixture, the exhaust gets rich with carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, and the mileage worsens.

Dimsport Rapid Tuning Modules for Cars/HGV/Tractors/Marine

The additional RAPID control unit is a new concept of electronic module that optimizes and increases up to 25% the performances of torque and power of the modern turbo diesel engines, in compliance with the stricter regulations on pollution.

It works by correcting the signals coming from the engine control unit towards the injection system, with the possibility of regulating it safely and autonomously.

Installing a Rapid module is a simple and rapid operation. It is sufficient to connect the wiring supplied in the kit to the vehicle's power-points (injectors, injection pump connector, etc.) by bypassing the original wiring of the engine.

To realize some quality interfaces between additional module and vehicle, some original connectors and parts of the manufacturers, when available on the market, are used.

Thanks to a special console, during the installation the operator can modify the Rapid calibrations to better respond to the customer's needs. We also remind you that by means of a switch it is always possible to commute from original power to modified power from the driver's compartment.

The product versatility, combined with its very easy installation, make RAPID an extremely desirable product for drivers who can, depending on the type of road, get with a simple operation a sudden increase of torque and power and optimize the fuel consumption.

Most vehcicles leave the manufacturer factory with a speed restrictor, and the retail dealer may offer to increase at remove these restrictor at a costly price. We can remove this speed restrictor at a fraction of a price

As a hire company you may wish to restrict the speed of your fleet to 70mph. This will avoid paying large bills on tyres and brakes at the end of the month saving you hundreds of pounds!
